Do I need fishing experience?
No. Beginners and experienced anglers are welcome. Fishing is just 200 yards from your door!
Will I see bears?
We see moose, bear, grouse, arctic swans, otters and many bald eagles. Wildlife sightings are abundant, especially during salmon runs, but nature never guarantees a schedule.
Is there internet?
Yes. Starlink provides reliable and very fast internet access and streaming for TVs.
Are there showers and bathrooms?
Yes. The lodge has two full modern bathrooms including hot showers, a tub and laundry.
Can families come?
Absolutely. This is perfect for kids and adults. (Adults act like kids up here and we have a kid friendly zipline in the front yard!)
Can non-fishing / non-"woodsy" guests enjoy the lodge?
Yes, we pride ourselves on bringing those more accustomed to the "luxury lifestyle of modern civilisation" into the woods and boy do they enjoy it more than most. Many guests come primarily for wildlife, scenery, photography and relaxation.
What should I bring?
A detailed packing list will be provided before arrival but think sun, rain, boating, hiking, relaxing.
