Perched on a 90-foot bluff overlooking the Talkeetna River and Larson Creek, RiverCreek Lodge is more than a fishing destination—it’s a piece of authentic Alaska.
What began in 1996 as a single weathered cabin in the wilderness has grown into a family-built Alaskan retreat spanning over 4,000 square feet under roof. For nearly three decades, our family has spent summers exploring these rivers, fishing these waters, watching bears along the salmon runs, and sharing unforgettable adventures with friends and guests.
Today, the lodge offers comfortable accommodations, hot showers, laundry facilities, a fully equipped kitchen, Starlink internet, television, and a large covered porch overlooking one of the most beautiful river valleys in Alaska.
But the real attraction lies beyond the front door.
Every morning begins with breathtaking views of the Talkeetna River winding through the wilderness below. Eagles soar overhead. Moose wander nearby. During salmon season, bears gather along the creeks and riverbanks. The wilderness here is alive.
Whether you’re chasing trophy salmon, exploring remote lakes by boat, flying around Denali, spotting wildlife, gathering berries along the trails, or simply enjoying a campfire beneath the midnight sun, Larson Creek Lodge offers a true Alaskan experience that few visitors ever get to see.

Let us help you craft your Alaska dream into unforgettable memories.
In 1996, my father and I discovered a small, rundown cabin overlooking the Talkeetna River from a 92' bluff.
Most people saw an old cabin in the woods.
We saw something special.
Over the next three decades, we returned year after year, slowly building what would become Larson Creek Lodge. Every cabin, deck, trail, and building tells part of that story.
Today the property includes guest cabins, bunkhouse accommodations, a cookhouse, laundry facilities, hot showers, equipment storage, and gathering spaces where friends and families can share stories after a day on the river.
What hasn’t changed is why we come here.
The sound of salmon moving upriver.
The sight of a bear fishing along the creek.
The glow of a campfire after a long day outdoors.
The feeling that, for a little while, you’ve stepped away from the modern world and into the Alaska that still exists beyond the roads.
We’re excited to share that experience with you.
